This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human.
Note:
- On the use, pack this product into a column and wash with solvent such as hexane for Dioxins Analysis (Wako Code #083-07391 (1 L); #089-07393 (3 L)) for activation.
- The residual silica material should be stored in a desiccator including desiccant.
- Adsorption of the water of the product may decrease the activity.
- Be careful because this product generates heat by mixing with water.
- Disposal Consideration:
Cautiously add to a large stirred excess of water. Adjusting the pH to neutral, separate any insoluble solids or liquids and package them for hazardous-waste disposal. Flush the aqueous solutions down the drain with plenty of water. - On handling, wear protectors as impervious gloves, safety glasses and a mask due to its toxicity.
- First Aid Measures:
- Skin Contact: Remove contaminated clothes and shoes, rinse skin with plenty of water or shower. Use soap to help assure removal. If irritation persists, transport to a hospital immediately.
Eye Contact: Remove any contact lenses at once. Flush eyes well with flooding amounts of running water for at least 15 minutes and wash them with 1~3% Sodium Bicarbonate solution. Assure adequate flushing by separating the eyelids with sterile fingers. If irritation persists, transport to a hospital immediately.
